Bihar CM launches '3D' counter-attack

PNS

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who was at the centre of attack by Narendra Modi,  on Sunday hit back saying the PM instead of clarifying his stand on 3Ds (dal, Dadri, Dalit) issues, was indulging only in theatrics.

“In achchhe din, we can’t even eat dal (pulse). But the PM has nothing to say about the skyrocketing prices of pulses. Earlier there had been slogans of Har Har Modi, Ghar Ghar Modi but it has now changed to ‘arhar Modi’ and people are questioning BJP members about the uncontrolled prices of pulses,” said Nitish.

He posted a series of tweets before the arrival of Modi in Bihar. In most of his tweets, he took a dig at Modi, his campaigns and his silence on the issues assuming national importance.

“Modiji was always unmatched in theatrics, rhetoric and using unsubstantiated facts. Now tactical silence is his new weapon of choice,” Nitish said.

“The saga continues, so let us braces ourselves for a repeat performance in Bihar,” he added.

Questioning Modi for his silence on promises like bringing back black money from abroad, hike in MSP for farmers, employment for youths, special status for Bihar among others, he charged the Prime Minister with conveniently forgetting them. “No words on promises he made and then conveniently forgot. No words on gruesome killing of Dalit children in Haryana, mob lynching in Dadri or skyrocketing prices of dal,” the CM tweeted.

“For someone who doesn’t miss an opportunity to talk or tweet by the minute on literally anything, it is baffling that Modiji doesn’t speak a word on issues that exhort the collective conscience of the country or bother the common masses,” said another tweet.

He said, “It is a golden opportunity for Biharis to see Modiji because after polls he will again disappear. I am happy he at least accepted my invitation for ‘kuch din gujaro Bihar mein’.”

RJD chief lalu Prasad also tweeted attacking Modi. “Modiji, before opening ur mouth to mislead innocent Bihari’s by fabricating further lies luk at the mirror 4 unfulfilled promises since 2014…. If not in English he can have debate in Hindi also on all the burning issues but I’m afraid he avoids challenges,” he tweeted.
