The bullet-riddled bodies of Chhattisgarh Congress chief Nand Kumar Patel and his son Di nesh, who were kidnapped by Maoists, were on Sunday found along with those of eight others in Jiram valley in Bastar. “Naxals stopped firing and approached the vehicles asking for Nand Kumar Patel and Mahendra Karma," Daulat Rohra, a Congress leader and an eye-witness in the incident, said. Union Minister of State for Home, RPN Singh said, “This is a total failure of intelligence.”
