Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the chief secretary and the director general of police to ensure speedy disposal of common man’s complaints at block, tehsil and police station levels.
Addressing a meeting here on Sunday, the chief minister said that the public faced most of the problems at these three levels hence quick disposal of their complaints and proper monitoring of the disposal should be ensured.
He said that police stations, blocks and tehsils should change their working for betterment with punctuality of the local officials.
“Other logistics like attending to people’s grievances should also be taken care of,” he added.
The chief minister also directed officials to evolve a system for online submission of grievances by the people as this would speed up the redressal system.
Reaffirming his government’s commitment to prompt disposal of the people’s grievances, the chief minister said that laxity would not be tolerated in this regard and the erring officials would face action.
