In an attempt to educate people about Ram Mandir, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has started awareness campaign by organising camps all across the state where the people will be told about legal hurdles in construction of temple and how it can be overcome.

Ved Sachchan, a senior VHP functionary said that beginning has been made from Ayodhya. Around 100 awareness camps have come up around this holy city while over 10,000 such camps will be held across the state.

He said that in these camps people will be told about legal hurdles in construction of Ram Mandir and what could be the option for construction of temple at the disputed site of Ram Janmabhoomi complex.

In last December carved pillars, to be used in building temple have been brought from Rajasthan. Shila pujan of these pillars was done by Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. He had also declared that time for construction of Ram temple has come.

“We have all resources with us. We are only waiting for an opportune time to start construction of temple,” Sachchan said.

The move to start awareness campaign is seen as an attempt to keep the Ram temple issue alive. The meetings are generally held in village chaupal or in the residence of an influential person of the village. The VHP functionary talks about importance of having Ram temple at Ayodhya. In the end the people take a vow to build temple.

“People want to know why there is such a delay in construction of Ram temple. They question us because VHP has taken a lead in this issue. This is our responsibility to aware them about on-going process,” Sachchan said.
