Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday reiterated his commitment for taking all the necessary steps for farmers' welfare.
Addressing the problems of farmers on a priority basis here on Saturday, the chief minister has directed officials to run the 'PM Kisan Samadhan' campaign in every district from March 1 to March 3, 2021.
In this regard, Additional Chief Secretary (Agriculture) Devesh Chaturvedi also issued directions. He said that farmers who were unable to get the benefit of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi due to some problems in their Aadhaar cards should reach the State Seed Godown of their respective development block with their bank account details between March 1 and 3 and get their data corrected.
He also directed the Directorate of Agriculture to send messages on the mobile phones of the beneficiaries in this regard.
Earlier, the PM Kisan Samadhan Diwas was implemented in the entire state from February 1 to 3.
Chaturvedi said, "I have asked the district magistrates of the state to deploy the computer operators working in Agriculture and other departments at the State Seed Godown of the Agriculture Department in every development block."
He said by reaching there, the Aadhaar number of farmers and their name as per the Aadhaar could be corrected and updated immediately on the pmkisan.gov.in portal.
To ensure that the farmers of the state were getting 100 per cent benefit from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Chaturvedi said that the progress of name amendment based on invalid Aadhaar correction was displayed under the login of district deputy agricultural director on pmkisan.gov.in.
He said all the matters should be resolved daily on priority as per the information displayed thereon.
"This solution is mainly being organised to get the name corrected on the Aadhaar card, but if the farmer is facing other issues, then the appropriate answer should be given to them under the PM Kisan Samadhan campaign," he added.
