The state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party will launch a massive outreach drive across Uttar Pradesh to highlight the Yogi Adityanath government’s achievements before the public from Tuesday.

After the announcement of seven-phase assembly elections in the state, the ruling party has decided to go door-to-door adhering to Covid protocol and establish direct contact with over one crore people, appealing them to extend their support to the party once again.

For this exercise, the BJP has formed groups of five people comprising party workers, leaders and public representatives to create awareness among residents of every village, city, society and women about various schemes initiated and implemented by the Central and the state governments.

During the mass contact drive spread across 1.74 lakh booths, the BJP workers will distribute leaflets highlighting achievements of the Yogi government along with masks and sanitisers to prevent COVID-19. The ruling party figures that the extensive contact drive would strengthen its base in the coming assembly elections.
