In a shocking incident, two real sisters were attacked with sticks and rods, seriously injuring them, in Sarjapur village under Barla police station of Aligarh.

Both the sisters were admitted to the local health centre for treatment.

The attack reportedly took place due to old enmity and its video went viral on social media.

Police have registered a case of assault and started an investigation. They claim that both the victims and the accused are relatives and there is a dispute between them over a property.

The parents of the injured sisters said that their daughters were attacked when they were going to pick up goods from a local shop on Sunday night.

Both are presently battling for life in the hospital.

In another incident in ITI Road at Azad Nagar in Aligarh, a woman and her son were locked in a room and brutally assaulted.

Not only this, the son was thrown from the roof, due to which he was seriously injured.

As both the sides belong to different religions, the issue took a communal colour and a heavy police force was deployed to avert any clash.

Karni Sena leaders also created a ruckus at Bannadevi police station, demanding action against the attackers. Former MLA Sanjeev Raja also reached the police station.

A case has been registered against five people. Two of the accused have been arrested by the police.

Reports said that Haji Riyazuddin alias Raju, owner of a scrap godown in Ashish Sharma's house in Azad Nagar, had taken a loan of Rs 1 lakh from Ashish. On Sunday morning Ashish had gone with his mother to collect money from Raju. It is alleged that on demanding money, Raju along with his sons locked Ashish and his mother in a room and brutally assaulted them.

In a report lodged by Ashish's mother, it was said that with the intention of killing her son, Raju and his sons dragged him to the terrace and threw him from there, critically injuring him.

The people of the locality caught Raju and handed him over to the police.

On behalf of the woman, a report has been lodged against five people, including Raju and his son Hamza.

Inspector Pradeep Kumar of Banna Devi police station said that both Raju and his son Hamza had been arrested and sent to jail.

Meanwhile, three people, including a couple, were killed and a teenager was seriously injured when an SUV and a motorcycle collided in the Lalauli area on Banda-Tanda highway in Fatehpur district.

Inspector-in-charge (SHO) of Lalauli police station, Ravindra Srivastava, said Nazim (23), a resident of Gadhi village under Jafarganj police station, was going to Datauli village by motorcycle along with his wife Sahana (22), brother-in-law Atiq (11) and Sahina (15). All of them were returning to Datauli after visiting the fair from Shah village. Near Sidhaon village, an SUV coming from Banda collided with the motorcycle, critically injuring all of them. They were taken to hospital where Nazim, Sahana and Ateeq were pronounced dead.

Sahina's condition is said to be critical.

The SHO said that all the three bodies were sent for post-mortem.
