A tiger killed a thirty five year old man in the Bheera range of the South lakhimpur Kheri . The body was recovered on Friday and the forest department had to face the ire of the agitated villagers. DFO South Kheri Neeraj Kumar while talking to "The Pioneer" said that the they had called for the Rapid Response team to handle the mob and the kill had been made on Thursday
"We have recovered the body today . We have paid for the compensation amount to the family and we are trying to control the agitated villagers" he said. This incident comes on the heels of the man animal conflict which is going on the Uttar Pradesh Uttrakhand border which has already come in the limelight with the ten victims claimed by the elusive tigress. The Forest Department has been on the trail of the elusive tigress for the past four months.
