Uttar Pradesh police has taken a unique initiative to recover missing kids from eleven districts of East UP.
Under the scheme, special teams have been formed for recovery of missing kids in Devipatan, Basti, Bahraich, Shravasti, Balrampur, Gonda, Sant Kabeer Nagar, Sidharthnagar, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Maharajganj and Kushinagar districts of East UP. These teams will be rewarded with Rs 5000 after recovery of each child.
Sources in police department said that these teams will put all information about a missing child on website as well as will circulate pamphlets at public places. “Persons who will help the police in recovering the missing child will also be rewarded,’ they said.
They said that police had no clue about 100 kids who are still reported missing from these eleven districts and the move had been taken to expedite the search of the missing kids.
