State made a major reshuffle by appointing senior Indian Police Services(IPS) officer Daljit Singh Choudhury as the new Additional Director General of Police( law and order) replacing Mukul Goel, on Friday afternoon. Official spokesperson here said that Mr Choudhury ,who is ADG ( Economic Offences Wing), will swap post with ADG( law and Order) Mukul Goel. Mukul Goel was reportedly shifted due to sprucing rising crime graph and he is also to be relieved soon for his central deputation.
