State government shifted 26 IPS officers which including changed in posting of a dozen officers. The name also included controversial Amitabh Thakur.
ADG in Food Cell, AK Panda, goes as ADG in Anti-Corruption Organisation (ACO) while ADG House and Welfare in the PHQ, Dawa Sherpa comes to lucknow as ADG Police Housing. IG law and Order, Bhagwan Swaroop goes as IG Railways, while Amitbah Thakur, who was recently reinstated from suspension was posted as IG in Rules and Manuals in place of SK Kaul, who will not took charge as IG in Civil Defence.
IG Vigilance Establishment, Ramit Sharma, goes as IG in Police Recruitment and Promotional Board while Mahendra Yadav will be new SP of Siddharthnagar, in place of lallan Singh who goes as SP of Sonebhadra, replacing Ram lal Verma, who comes to lucknow as SP in Fire Services. SP regional intelligence in Bareilly Pramod Kumar goes as SP Police Training School in Meerut while Atul Saksena, will join as commandant in 11th battalion PAC in Sitapur. lallan Rai will be commandant in 26th battalion PAC in Etawah.
The transfer order of a dozen officers has been also modified. Ram Pratap Singh goes as commandant of 26th battalion PAC in Gorakhpur while Sadhna Goswami, who was earlier asked to join as SP Railways will now swap place with SP Power Corporation limited Sabha Raj. Similarly Balendu Bushan Singh, who was asked to join as SP Regional Intelligence in Allahabad will be now SP Vigilance Establishment in lucknow. Transfer order of Vinay Yadav and Dinesh Chandra Dubey were also cancelled. They will now join as SP Intelligence in lucknow and Commandant of 6th battalion PAC in Meerut respectively.
Similarly Nageshwar Singh will now join as SP of Special Investigation Team in lucknow. Gopesh Nath Khanna will now join as SP legal Cell at Police Directorate. Sonia Singh, who was transferred as SP Sambhal will continue on her earlier assignment as SP Railways in lucknow. The transfer order of Askok Kumar Tripathi has been changed and he will now join as SP STF (west zone), while Shiv Shankar Singh, will also remain on his earlier assignment as commandant of 10th battalion PAC in Barabanki. Harish Kumar will be SP in Human Rights.
The transfer order of Ashul Gupta was also cancelled as he will now join as SP in Dr BR Ambedkar Police Academy in Moradabad. Dr N Ravinder will also not join as IG House and Police Welfare but will report as IG at PAC head quarter in lucknow.
