State government has directed the Fire department to start online services to enable the industrialists and the business houses to attain No Objection Certificate (NOC) easily.
The new arrangement will enable the applicants to attain NOC within 15 days for the buildings after completion of all the formalities, UP Principal Secretary(Home) Anil Kumar Gupta said here. Interestingly, hours after above communiqué of Gupta, he was shunted out following deteriorating law and order situation.
The official apprised state Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has also directed the department to provide NOC for the fire report within three days. The new move will encourage industrialisation and also quicken the fire department to act swiftly in emergency cases. Besides, it will prove to be time-savvy. It is mandatory for all combustible places to have NOC from the fire department and all other places like schools and multi-storey buildings must have a means of fire-fighting system.
