In a major bureaucratic shake-up, the state government on Monday transferred 24 IAS officers including Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, Divisional Commissioners and District Magistrates.
Secretary (Medical and Family Welfare) Subash Chandra Sharma will be the new Divisional Commissioner of Aligarh while Secretary (Board of Revenue) and IG Stamps and Registration, Anil Kumar–I has been made Divisional Commissioner of Gorakhpur.
Secretary (Revenue) Dinesh Kumar Singh-I has been given the additional charge of Relief Commissioner. Director General of Deen Dayal Institute of Rural Development, NS Ravi has been posted as Principal Secretary of Secretariat Administration department.
The earlier transfer of Nina Sharma as Divisional Commissioner of Azamgarh has been cancelled and she has been posted as Commissioner and Director of Industries department. Secretary (Cultural Affairs) Nelam Ahlawat has been posted as Commissioner of Azamgarh.
Dr Hariom holding the twin charge of Commissioner of Consolidation department and Secretary (OBCs welfare department) has ben divested of the second charge and given the charge of Secretary and Director of Cultural Affairs department.
Member (Judicial) Board of Revenue, Dr PV Jagmohan has been posted as Divisional Commissioner of Basti. Mukesh Kumar Meshram holding the twin charge of Commissioner of Commercial Tax and Entertainment Tax departments has been divested of the latter. Director (Mid-day Meal Authority) Shraddha Mishra has been posted as Commissioner of Entertainment Tax department.
Special Secretary (Higher Education ) Ajay Kumar Singh-II has been posted as Director of Technical Education department.
Special Secretary (Secretariat Administration) Vidya Sagar Prasad goes as Director of Handicap Welfare.
Special Secretary and Director of Environment department Bhawani Singh goes as Special Secretary (Agriculture Production Commissioner branch).
Divisional Commissioner of Kanpur Mohammed Iftikharuddin has been divested of the additional charge of MD of UP Finance Corporation. Vice-chairman of Kanpur Development Authority Jayshree Bhoj has been posted as MD of UP Finance Corporation.
MD of UP Handlooms Corporation Sukhlal Bharti has been posted as Special Secretary (Handloom and Textiles department).
Director of Cane Institute and MD of UP Sugar Corporation, Rakesh Kumar Singh-II, has been posted as Vice-chairman of Hapur-Pilkhua Development Authority.
District Magistrate of Bulandhahr Shubra Saxena comes to lucknow as Special Secretary (Higher Education) while Special Secretary (Irrigation) AK Singh has been posted as DM of Bulandshahr.
Sheetal Verma awaiting posting goes as Special Secretary (Finance). Jagdish awaiting posting goes as Special Secretary (Secretariat Administration).
Joint Magistrate of Gonda, Avinash Kumar goes as Joint Magistrate of Varanasi. Vice-chairman of Meerut Development Authority, Rajesh Kumar—II, has been transferred to Moradabad Development Authority in the same capacity.
