The BJP continued to disrupt the functioning of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly for the second day on Friday creating din demanding debate on the deteriorating law and order situation forcing Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey to adjourn the House.

For the second day in a row Question Hour was disrupted in the state assembly.

The BJP members entered the well of the House well before the proceedings started asking the Speaker to take up their adjournment notice which was however rejected by the chair.

The BJP members continued to raise slogans against the government obstructing leader of the Opposition Swami Prasad Maurya who wanted to speak. Irked over the behaviour of BJP,  the BSP members staged a walk-out.

The BJP and the SP members had a spat when state Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mohammad Azam khan alleged that the BJP in  order to cover up their failures at the Centre including price hike was making such ruckus in the House.

He even questioned the BJP members to reply how the black money in the Swiss bank increased by 40 per cent in their regime. “The SP government will not allow the BJP  to take law in their hands inside or outside the House,” he said.

BJP leader Satish Mahana said that the SP goons are ruling roost in the state and now even Khan is threatening them.

The Speaker tried to pacify the members, but when the members did not relent, he adjourned the House.
