Calling Narendra Modi Government as `jhumla government’ the ruling Samajwadi Party said that BJP-led NDA Government has failed to live up to the expectations of the people who voted this alliance to power with thumping majority.

Samajwadi Party spokesman Rajendra Chaudhry said that Prime Minister is very good in giving statement but is very bad in implementing his words into realities. “This PM has won more headlines in foreign countries than in India because he has failed to deliver in India,” he said in a statement issued here on Thursday.

Chaudhry, who is also cabinet minister in Akhilesh Yadav Government said that politics does not mean making false promises. He had promised achche din, where are those achche din. When BJP came to power the arhar dal was selling at Rs 70-80 per kg but now it costs Rs 170 per kg. Despite prices of crude oil coming down at international level, prices of petrol has gone up, WhyIJ,” asks Chaudhry.

He said that Modi came to power pulling wool over the eyes of the people. But now people know the truth. They are ready to call spade a spade. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had asked for a relief package for drought hit people but the Union Government has reused to release money, Chaudhry added.

Making stinging attack at Modi Government he said that Prime Minister talks about federal politics where centre and state should work together but when it comes to releasing power for UP Union Government forgets this principle.

“For Modi jhumla matters but for Samajwadi Party work matter. In 2017 elections we will go to people showcasing our development schemes and show BJP that people vote for work not words,” Chaudhry said.
