The Samajwadi party will hold its state executive meeting on July 31 at party headquarters to discuss its strategy for the forthcoming lok Sabha elections, slated for 2014. Party spokesman Rajendra Chaudhry said here on Wednesday that state party president Akhilesh Yadav has convened this all-important meeting to discuss poll strategy with senior party officials.

All the state executive members, legislators and MPs have been asked to remain present in the meeting that will be addressed by party national president Mulayam Singh Yadav, Chaudhry said in a statement.  Meanwhile, in another statement he said that BSP national president is now shedding tears for dalits and poor while in her tenure she did not meet the poor. She tells party workers to connect with people but where she was when her party was at helm of affairs. “Her party workers were fleecing poor and she just ignored the cries of poor and dalits,” he said.
