Pioneer News Service

Reacting to the allegations of Union Steel minister Beni Prasad Verma on a tacit truck between some Congres leaders and SP leadership in the last Assembly polls, the state BJP questioned as to why was the minister not revealing the names of the leaders involved.
BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said that the allegations of the senior Congress leader prove the BJP apprehension about the tacit collusion between Congress and Samajwadi Party.
"Both the parties made a public posture about political animosity against each other. Congress Yuvraj even publically tore SP's election promises calling them a bundle
of lies. Whereas the fact is that at that time Congress leaders were enacting a drama to please their SP friends," Pathak said in a statement on Tuesday.
He said that when Beni Prasad Verma says that Congress leadership had 'sold' Assembly tickets and some leaders connived against party candidates to suit the SP design, this
proves that Congress leadership had taken bribe. "With the lok Sabha polls round the corner, both parties are again trying to repeat the drama enacted during the 2012 Assembly poll. leaders of both the parties have again started criticizing each other to mislead the public," the
BJP spokesman said.
Meanwhile, BJP national chief Rajnath Singh would be coming to lucknow on Wednesday and would flag off relief material and the first instalment of funds collected by the party for victims of flood ravaged Uttarakhand. BJP state chief laxmi Kant Bajpai said that the party was working on short and long term plans to provide relief to affected people in Uttarakhand. "First the BJP and the RSS are providing immediate relief material including food
grains, medicines, blankets, covers and fare to people.
Secondly, the party will work for rehabilitation of the people," said Bajpai.
