Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that India has reached a new height under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi only because PM has a vision and his Government has launched schemes for the welfare of all sections of the society.

“India has transformed in last three years. Prime Minister has introduced policies for the women, youth, farmers and entrepreneurs which has helped India to scale new heights. Our economy is robust with the result all the people have something to do. The way we are progressing there is no doubt that India will emerge as super power,” Yogi said while addressing party workers at MP Inter College Grounds in Gorakhpur on completion of three years of Modi Government.

He said that no government ever thought about women in villages who used to cook food by burning wood. The BJP government introduced Ujjawala scheme under which women were given lPG cylinders. The schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana and Swach Bharat Abhiyan are game changers, he said.

“There is then Digital India project which has opened new vista of opportunity for the youth. The Digitalisation has not only speeded up government work but also has brought transparency in the working,” he said. “The schemes for farmers are revolutionary. Neem coated Urea has helped farmers to increase their production,” he said.

Yogi also said that Government of Uttar Pradesh will implement all the pro-poor and pro-people policies of the Union Government in letter and in spirit. Union Government has promised houses for all living under poverty line by 2022 and UP Government will ensure that this project takes shape in the state, he said.

“The process to construct 5 lakh houses will start soon. The BJP government will allocate these houses without bias to all,” he said.

Earlier, he had attended a seminar organised by the Indian Medical Association, Gorakhpur where the doctors had promised to given free treatment at Sitapur Eye Hospital for two hours.

CM had earlier asked private doctors to give free services in PHCs and CHCs.

later in the day he left for Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi where he will have a night stay.
