BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi’s visit to twin city of Faizabad- Ayodhya on Monday for campaigning has given a new political twist as the leader is expected to go for darshan of Ram lalla at the disputed site.
But the programme of the visit of Modi to Ayodhya to pay obeisance to lord Ram and Hanumangarhi Temple will succeed only if the district authorities give permission for it.
Even if he gets the permission, the Gujarat CM will also have short of time to go to Ayodhya as he will be addressing five election meetings in Uttar Pradesh to be completed before the end of the campaigning on Monday evening.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) spokesperson Sharad Sharma told media persons on Sunday morning that though there is a programme for the visit of Narendra Modi to Ayodhya but there is acute shortage of time.  ‘’We had earlier requested the authorities to allow Modi  to address the public meeting at the airstrip but they did not allow it and now the meeting would be held at GIC ground, which has some distance from Ayodhya,’’ he said.
Sharma said but still the authorities have been asked to give permission to the BJP’S PM candidate for his visit to Ayodhya. ‘’The decision of the leader’s visit to Ayodhya depend on the permission by the authorities and availability of time, that too in the last moment,’’ the VHP leader said.  Modi has always skipped the Ayodhya issue during his election speeches and also avoided visiting Ayodhya after becoming the BJP’s PM candidate so far.
