UP governor Ram Naik has given an approval to incorporate the faculties of Ayurveda and Unnani departments of Dr Bhimrao Amembedkar University, Agra, according to an official press release on Monday.
The decision was taken to incorporate Ayurveda department in accordance to the section 7.1(O) of the rule one of the Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University while Unnani departments was included under the section 7.1(P), said the press release. With this, Ayurveda and Unnani faculity will come to existence.
It may recalled the curriculum of all courses of the Ayurveda and Unnanai departments across the state are associated with the Chattrapati Shahuji Maharaja University. But with the amendment in the rules, the Ayurveda and Unnani faculty would come up at Dr Bhimrao University,Agra where all the courses will be part of its cirriculum.
