Governor Ram Naik has invited all the MPs from UP for a discussion on the development of the state particularly on the education sector.
In a letter to MPs of Uttar Pradesh from lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Naik said that in his one year tenure he has met some of them. “I wish to meet those MPs also whom I could not meet so that we can have a discussion on various issues pertaining to the development of the state,” Governor said in his letter which was released to media on Monday.
He said in his one year tenure he had toured various parts of the state and has tried to understand the socio-economic features of that area. “I also discuss on various issues with state government and has also given my suggestion from time to time,” he said.
“As a Chancellor of the state-run universities I have tried to improve the quality of education in colleges and these universities. The MPs can give suggestions about colleges and universities in their constituencies and how I can help in improving education standard there,” he wrote in that letter.
Naik also asked MPs to give suggestions to him about suggestions about the development schemes launched by the state government in their constituencies.
