Bharatiya Janata Party President JP Nadda will hold a meeting with the newly-appointed office-bearers of the party’s Uttar Pradesh unit on Thursday evening,
“It will be an introductory meeting in which future organisational programmes will be chalked out,” said UP BJP spokesman in a statement issued here on Wednesday.
The meeting will be chaired by BJP state chief Swatantra Dev Singh and would be attended by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma, BJP state general secretary (organisation) Sunil Bansal and other leaders including district chiefs.
Meanwhile, at a sector-level meeting in Lucknow, the BJP state chief appealed to party workers to strengthen the organisation at the booth level and ensure the party’s victory in elections from panchayats to Parliament.
“BJP Workers should act as a bridge between people and the government so that benefits of government schemes reach the masses. We should feel proud that we belong to a party which dreams of making India strong,” Swatantra Dev Singh told the workers.
BJP general secretary (organisation) Sunil Bansal also spoke on the occasion and asked party workers to get in touch with all sections of society.
