Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav will skip his 75th birthday celebrations in the state capital on Saturday when he will continue to stay at Rampur.
Though the party will observe the birthday tomorrow as ' Samta Diwas' in the state when the party workers and leaders will distribute foods and other items to the poor, Yadav will stay in Rampur where he will participate in several functions.
State SP spokesperson and UP minister Rajendra Choudhury said here on Friday that the main celebration would be held at Rampur where 'Netaji' will distribute bi-cycles and scholarships at Mohammad Ali Jauhar University.
Yadav along with his family members and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will take the tour of the University, where almost all the ministers of the UP cabinet will join the function, Chaudhury said.
He said that the SP workers will celebrate the occasion in a big way when they will hold several programmes in different parts of the state.
