Bahujan Samaj Party chief and Member of Parliament, Mayawati has adopted Mall village of lucknow under Adarsh Gram Scheme of the prime minister, on Saturday.
Sources confirmed that Mayawati has adopted Mall village which is about 18 kilometer away from the state capital. Mall village, more popular for it’s mango belt, lies in the Malihabad tehsil of the district and is experiencing acute problem of drinking water, sanitation and Road etc. Meanwhile, Mayawati would travel Jharkhand to seek vote for the Party candidates in the on-going Assembly polls. According to official communiqué, Mayawati would visit Palmu district of Jharkhand on Sunday and would address a huge rally at Karpori Ground in Hussainabad locality of the district. It may be mentioned here that BSP is fighting the Assembly elections alone on 81 seats.
