Maya takes a dig at Modi

Taking a dig at Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for this comment on rescuing 15,000 Gujaratis in Uttarakhand,Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati said a leader  which parochial Thinking cannot think of becoming Prime Minister of the country.

"How can such a narrow-minded person hope to become Minister," she said and riticised him for "just saving the pilgrims from Gujarat".  Addressing a Brahmin Maha Sammelan here Mayawati said: "some political parties are doing politics in Utttarakhand at the time of tragedy. People should know about BJP and its leaders who cannot think ahead of their state or their community."

Demanding from the Centre to declare the Uttarakhand incident as a' national calamity', she said no politics should be done over the relief and rescue work in Uttarakhand.  She also deplored terrorist attack in Bodh Gaya and demanded a high level probe into the incident.
