Dismissing the criticism of the budget by the Bahujan Samaj party president Mayawati "as manifestation of her allergy for development’’, Samawadi Party has said the former chief minister is clue less to criticize the Akhilesh Yadav government.
"Mayawati is nostalgic and unable to forget her five years in power. Elevation of Akhilesh Yadav as chief minister in 2012 was biggest setback in her life and from the Samajwadi party government was formed in the state in march 2012 she had been demanding imposition of Presidents rule in the state’’, said the SP spokesman Rajendra Chowdhary here on Sunday.
"Akhilesh Yadav government has served the interest of each section of the society and all have benefitted from the development works unleashed by the state government and benefitted them. MayAwati is scared by the growing popularity of the Akhilesh Yadav government so she is making baseless charges against the government’’.
SP leader said in her desperation to criticize the Akhilesh Yadav government she has gone to the extent of criticizing the development works in all sectors of the economy done by the SP government.
"She is unable to dig out anything substantial to criticise the SP government so she has started quoting from files of her tenure and news paper clippings of her regime. ``The people of the state are satisfied with the state government while during her regime people were traumatized and were desperate to get rid of her government’’, said the SP leader adding `` Mayawati has suddenly discovered the poor and farmers while during her regime hundreds of farmers had committed suicide and they faced police lath charge when they demanded fertilizer and protested against the forcible acquisition of their land’’.
SP spokesman said the poor and the farmers were strictly prohibited from approaching Mayawati when she was the chief minister. ``Entire BSP government ministers and the party MlAs were neck deep in corruption and they looted the people and the state exchequer with impunity’’, charged Rajendra Chowdhary.
He said former chief minister Mayawati has no moral right to criticise the SP government. He alleged that the crime against the women and dalits were at peak during her regime and large number of incidents of kidnapping rape and murder of girls happened during her regime. He alleged several BSP ministers and MlAs were found to be involved in such incidents.
He alleged that the biggest ever scam in health sector, the national rural health mission scam, which is still being investigated by the CBI and two chief medical officers and one deputy chief medical officer were murdered in the scam.
He said no such incident has occurred during the SP regime and the chief minister akhilesh Yadav has kept the law and order under tight leash and has also vigorously pursued the development in agriculture and infrastructure
The SP leader said that the BSP leader are living in mistaken belief that they would again be able to mislead the people of the state and run down the good performance and overall achievements of the Akhilesh Yadav government. He said the BSP is losing the people faith by leveling baseless and false charges against the SP government.
