The BSP leader said that Samajwadi Party government in the state was giving shelter to criminals. He also said that the former minister and his son were being harassed under a political conspiracy.

From the last three years the minister was hiding, but when he felt that he can be murdered then he surrendered in the court, Maurya added.

The BSP leader said that, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav should control the crime in the state, if there was any morality left in him. The leader of Opposition said that over 642 policemen were the victim of attacks in the state and 230 out them were shot dead, when this is the condition of policemen in the state then how can a common man be safe.
