Sticking to his gun Urban Development Minister Azam Khan said that he was within his right in taking the murder of an innocent Muslim for allegedly eating beef to the UN and would not allow Rsthekedars of a religion’ to turn India into a Hindu rashtra.

“No one can stop me from going to UN. If the thekedars can take Badaun issue to the UN or people can win Nobel prize by raising issue of child labour what stops me from raising Muslims persecution in international forum,” Khan said during a function where Muslims students were honoured here on Wednesday.

Khan said that no one asked questions when Kailash Satyarthi went to the UN with children or when Budaun case was raised in the UN. “But every one is criticising me for writing a letter to the UN. Even the leaders are asking me to migrate to Pakistan as I am anti-national,” he said.

He said that it is unfortunate that he was receiving brickbats for exposing the sinister design of the central government to turn India into a Hindu theocratic state. “lakhs of cases related to health were taken before the UN, but at that time nobody said people doing so were Pakistani agents,” he said.

He also criticised the BJP and other fascist forces for questioning the Samajwadi Party government on the compensation given to Mohammad Akhlaq , the deceased in the Dadri lynching case.

“CM should not be concerned about the statements made by the communal forces. He  should continue his work for the well being of the society,” he said.

Hitting out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Urban development minister said when a PM of a country is trying to defame the senior politicians how could the foreign investors invest in the country.

The UP minister claimed that his government was doing everything to uplift the minorities and other backward communities.
