Blaming former chief minister, Kalyan Singh for betrayal by dissolving his party in to BJP many Jankranti party workers and office bearers announced joining Rashtriya lok Dal (RlD) on Sunday.
In a function organised at RlD state party office, Jankranti party workers led by Nitin Srivatsva said, former chief minister Kalyan Singh consulted no one before merging Jankranti party in to BJP which was a deceit with workers. The workers stood beside him during tough times but seeing greener pastures Kalyan Singh betrayed them.
Welcoming Jankranti party office bearers in to party, senior RlD leader Anil Dubey and Arif Mehmood said, all workers will be given respect in RlD which was fighting against exploitation of farmers and other weaker sections of society.
