Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed that hurdles were created in the process of setting up of `Mansarovar Bhawan’ in Ghaziabad but his government was able to cleasr the obstacles. Yogi was in Ghazabad on Thursday to lay the foundation of the proposed Mansarovar Bhawan.

“To derail the project, land allocated for the purpose was brought under dispute but my Government purchased a land worth Rs 50 crore and now the dreams of having a proper house to facilitate pilgrims of Mansarovar Yatra will be finally fulfilled,” asserted Yogi.

Addressing a gathering at the venue, Yogi said that his government was committed to the welfare of all religion and castes as it believed in `Sabka saath, sabka vikas’.

The CM claimed that after the Bhawan became operational it will be a symbol of Indian pride. “It will not only benefit pilgrims going for Mansarovar Yatra but it would also facilitate trouble-free Kanwar Yatra in the state,” he said.

Yogi claimed that UP had ample scope for tourism in the state and with focussed efforts, it could emerge as a top tourist destination.

“After my government took over, we tapped tourism potential in the state and created religious circuits like Ramayan Circuit in Ayodhya, Krishna Circuit in Mathura, Baudh Circuit in Kushinagar etc. On the lines of Haridwar, Gadhmukteshwar was being developed. Besides, we have Allahabad which witnesses visit by 12 to 15 crore people during Kumbh,” Yogi said.

Hailing the Union Government for it’s work, Yogi said that with the achievements made by the NDA government, people gave full majority to the BJP to form a government in UP too. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done a noble job by taking up `Swach Bharat’ campaign and his government was also committed to fulfilling it to make the state free from all pollution.

The CM stated that Ghaziabad has already become cleaner by the efforts of his government and provided Rs 16 crore for development of Khera colony of Ghaziabad.

Reacting on the good monsoons this year, Yogi said that the ‘Rain God’ was happy after the BJP came to power in UP, which has beeen witnessing scant rains in previous years nad faced drought-like situation.

Satting that healthy monsoons would come as a relief to farmers, Yogi said that his government was committed to the welfare of farmers and hence waived off crop laons worth Rs one lakh each.

Earlier, government policies were not based on farmers’ welfare but now both the Centre and UP government were making policies focussing on it and soon, camps will be organised to provide further relief to farmers from crop loan arrears. He said that 93 per cent of cane arrears have already been cleared and the entire dues will be cleared by the next cane season.

Assuring that his government would live up to the expectations of the public, Yogi said that relief will also be given to students from exorbitant high fees and costly books. He also said that a Committee will soon be formed to regularise fees in school and colleges.

Just before the function, Ghaziabad Police detained some local BJP leaders and recovered fake passes of the CM’s program from them and raided a house later and recovered over 200 fake passes. The accused were being quizzed.
