Farmers issues strong platform to attack BJP

PNS

Unaddressed issues related to farmers in the West UP will provide a strong platform to the united opposition to attack the Bhartiaya Janta Party in the bye elections in Kairana and Noorpur.

While stating this, national spokesman of Rashtria lok Dal (RlD), Anil Dubey said the BJP’s poll promise proved to be a Jam Tomorrow for the farmers in one year rule of BJP state government and four years of ruling of union government. “The BJP will find it defensive once the election campaign started,’ he said.

He criticized the state government for not addressing the problems of sugarcane growers who were yet to get their arrears cleared. “The public will teach the BJP a lesson in the election for sure,’ he said.

Dubey said the BJP played tricks to polarize the voters in each of the elections it won and may repeat its strategy in the bye elections also.

Meanwhile, state vice president of RlD, Wasim Haider demanded the district administration in Bijnaur, Muzaffrnagr and Saharanpur to now allow BJP leaders Sangeet Som and Suresh Rana to campaign in the area where the elections are to be held in the time to come. He said the present BJP state government was anti farmer and it made false promises at the time of election to come in power.

On the other hand, RlD state spokesman Surendra Nath Trivedi hit out at his statement during the Nepal visit and said the PM always made hollow promises to the public which voted the party into power.

Highlighting the lack of water resources in Bundelkhand RlD state spokesman Surendra Nath Trivedi pointed out that people in Budelkhand are facing a lot of hardship due to lack of water. “The Union government has completed it 4 year of tenure but the district did not see any development as yet,” he said.
