Scotching rumours that ran rife throughout the day over his being sent back to Delhi, given his worsening relation with the state government, State DGP MA Ganapathy who is now in Hyderabad had to issue press release, denying that he has been shifted away from the state.
He said that some anti- social elements had spread the rumour with a malicious motive. This is absolutely baseless, he said, adding that legal action would be taken against them.
