Director General of police, Deo Raj Nagar on Monday warned all the cops that any of their act which hurt the image of the department will be taken seriously and they will also lose their jobs.
According to IG (law and order), RK Vishwa karma, an SMS was dispatched to all the senior officers of the police department as sell as lower rank cops who were posted as incharges of police stations on Monday evening. He claimed the message which was end on behalf of the DGP, D R Nagar warned all the cops that from now onwards, if any of them was found involved in any kind of act which damage the image of the Police they will be immediately terminated from the Department. The move was said to be made as in many of the cases, the cops were found indulged in inhuman acts projecting that they had no sensitivity to anyone particularly in dealing with cases of fairer sex.
Sources said that very soon, the cops who were involved in confining 10-year-old rape victim inside lock-up at Bulundshahr will be terminated from the Department. The DGP office in just waiting for outcome of the enquiry pending in the matter and once they will receive it, necessary orders will be issued in this regard. Besides those cops who deserted the Deputy SP, Zia-ul-Haq, which led to his brutal killings in Pratapgarh will be also removed from the Department after serving their termination orders. An enquiry report conducted by than Addl SP of Pratapgarh, Asharam Yadav has been already submitted with the Government for necessary action.
