Principal Secretary (Home) RM Srivastava and DGP, Deoraj Nagar gave warning to circle officer of Jalapur in Amedkarnagar and four prosecution officers (PO) after finding dereliction of duties on their parts.
While reviewing the law and order situation of Faizabad range at Faizabad on Monday afternoon, both the officers checked the equipments kept in the vehicle of circle officers and found that battery of loud Hailer kept in the jeep of CO of Jalapur circle of Ambedkarnagar was very low. Similarly during review of work taken up by POs they found that three of the officers from Faizabad which included Chandrabhan Pratap Narain, Krishnadhar Shukla,
Shambhu Pratap Chandra, along with one PO from Ambedkarnagar, Ramdhyan Pandey were not doing their work properly. ADG (Prosecution) RN Singh, who was also present in the meeting warned the officers to gear-up or be ready to face the music.
later addressing the officers of the range, both RM Srivastava and Deoraj Nagar asked them to remain extra vigilant and that immediate cognizance of any incident or information should be taken before it took a worse turn.
They asked that Faizabad is communally sensitive district so all the officers should remain on their toes and initiate proper action to avert any clash particularly which hurt the communal fabric of the Holy city. Besides RM Srivastava, Deoraj Nagar, and RN Singh, ADG (Intelligence), Jawahar lal Tripathi, ADG (prisons), RP Singh, Ddivisional commissioner of Faizabad, Sanjay Prasad, IG lucknow Range, Subash Kumar, DIG Faizabad range, BD Paulson and district police chiefs of Faizabad, Ambedkarnagar, Barabanki, Sultanpur and Amethi were also present in the meeting.
