The Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up to probe the Deoria girl shelter home horror seized a red-coloured car suspecting it to have been used for transporting inmates to ‘guests’.
Sources confirmed that the car belonged to shelter home owner Girja Tripathi, who was earlier arrested along with her husband. “The whistleblower, an inmate, had revealed that red and white coloured cars used to come to the shelter home and inmates were some times sent out for the night. The red car was traced and seized for further investigation,” said a senior officer posted in Deoria. Though he did not disclosed anything further, sources said that the car belonged to Girja Tripathi.
Soon after being arrested, Girja Tripathi had questioned that if her shelter home was illegal, then why did the authorities facilitate it to runij
