Countdown for Nitish’s ‘political exile’ has begun: Dinesh Sharma

Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma said the countdown for Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s ‘political exile’ had begun.

He said with Nitish Kumar again opting to join hands with the Rashtriya Janata Dal, Bihar would witness repeat failure of ‘chacha-bhatija’ experiment like the ‘bua-bhatija’ partnership in UP in 2019.

Dinesh Sharma was referring to Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav's unsuccessful alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha election.

“The countdown for 'rajnitik vanvaas' (political exile) of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has started and it will be completed in the next Lok Sabha elections," the former deputy chief minister said on Sunday.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav had taken oath on Wednesday, a day after the Janata Dal (United) snapped ties with the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and joined hands with the RJD, the Congress and some other parties to form the Mahagathbandhan government.
