Congress leaders MAY lay a seige to Vidhan Bhawan

PNS

Congress leaders are likely to lay a seige to the Vidhan Bhawan on Saturday afternoon, to express their ire over 'the targeting of senior leaders by misusing official machinery by the Centre'.

The partymen are agitated over the Court summons served on party chief president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi  for a personal appearance in the National Herald case.

Interestingly, there was no official word from the UPCC on this. The high command has already clarified that there will be no protests by Congressmen against the court order.

Congress sources confirmed that state chief Nirmal Khatri is likely to lead the protest march from Mall Avenue state headquarters to the Vidhan Sabha which later might culminate into a ghearo of the Vidhan Bhawan building.

Sources claimed though the protest is to register our angst regarding harassment of Sonia and Rahul, but it will be peojected as a protest against the NDA government's policy of harassing the Opposition leaders.

"The party workers will expose how the Centre has been using CBI, Enforcement Directorate, Income Tax and other Central agencies to divert attention of the ppeole from the cirppling problems of rising prices, checking corruption, reneging on bringing back black money stashed in foreign banks etc.
