Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is also the Mahant of Gorakhnath Peeth, will visit his native city Gorakhpur for two days starting Saturday. This will be Yogi’s second visit to his native city after becoming Chief Minister of the state on March 19.
Officials said that on the first day of his visit, the CM will lay the foundation stones of 12 developmental projects. In the afternoon, he will hold a meeting with BJP leaders.
later, Adityanath will visit Deen Dayal Upadhaya Gorakhpur University to inaugurate a series of projects while in the evening he will attend the oath taking ceremony of the new executive members of Gorakhpur Press Club.
In the night, Yogi will attend a seminar organised by Gorakhnath Temple Blood bank at the temple premises.
On Sunday, the CM will visit Salempur in Deoria district to distribute equipment to physically-challenged persons and later return to Gorakhpur to attend a meeting on law and order at Gorakhpur Development Authority conference hall between 4 and 5 pm. The CM will return to lucknow on Sunday night.
