Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended financial help to Surendra Chaurasia of Dhauhara village in lakhimpur Kheri, who had petitioned the CM for helping him raise his two blind minor daughters. Yogi also directed officials to provide a ration card, a toilet and a house under Prime Ministers Housing Scheme.
A government spokesman said on Saturday that Chaurasiya met the Chief Minister with his two blind daughters Mamta (5) and Shubhi (4) seeking help for their upbringing. Their handicap is beyond medical cure but doctors had advised regular check up of eyes of his other two children aged seven and six years respectively.
Taking a compassionate view of Chaurasiya’s financial condition, the Chief Minister decided to extend the family adequate assistance.
