The Rashtriya lok Dal (RlD) once again advocated for the need of dividing the state into four parts over the issue of development of Uttar Pradesh. Speaking in Deoria on Saturday, while addressing party workers, RlD general secretary, Jayant Chaudhary stressed on the need of dividing the state into four parts and said that if calculated according to the population that UP stands equal to the 7th largest country which is divided into 18 divisions.
Chaudhary added that the denizens of state had to travel over 600 kilometers to get their complaint registered in Secretariat, High Court, Board of Education, Board of Revenue and Public Service Commission thus it is necessary to divide the state on these grounds.
He said that there should be arrangement of such system which can be easily available to public but this was not at all possible in so much big state therefore RlD advocated for the re-structuring of Uttar Pradesh so that its development could be paced up. He added that the restructure of state will also help in improving condition of law and order and governance in the states. Chaudhary said that the state was reeling under intense corruption and Jungleraj and the government now matter what party it is, has never cared about it.
The meeting was also address by state RlD president Munna Singh Chauhan who strongly criticized the state government for failing to check corruption. He highlighted poor civic amenities like roads and public health car facilities that hand gripped the state government saying the state government’s approach was hindering the development.
The meeting was also addressed by senior RlD leader Trilok Singh Tyagi who highlighted the plight of farmers in Samajwadi Party ruled Uttar Pradesh and exhorted the workers to be united and fight for the interest of poor, farmers and unemployed youths. He said the people should put their trust in RlD as they had already tested the merit of BSP and Samajwadi Party in the past.
