After hosting a series of successful events and outreach activities in Kannauj, Kanpur, Allahabad and Varanasi, Facebook’s ‘Boost Your Business’ program - an initiative mooted by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has now reached lucknow.
The program will culminate on March 11, at a ceremony in lucknow where the CM would be the chief guest.
Under its initiative of increasing investment in small businesses in India, Facebook’s ‘Boost your Business’ has gone through different parts of the state for the past 5 weeks.
According to the officials in lucknow, more than 1000 pages have been created and around 1500 SMEs have been trained on how to grow their business using Facebook Pages.
In lucknow, more than 250 business pages have been created so far. In the state capital, Facebook’s on-ground team has covered Aminabad, New Aminabad, Aiya Ganj and Chowk area in lucknow so far.
Over the next few days, the Facebook team will go to other famous market and business hubs of the city and will educate businesses about how they can use Facebook to build an online presence that helps them grow.
The team will help them create business pages on Facebook and will also educate them on ways through which they can maximize the digital reach of their business and its products.
