BJP to form government by two-thirds majority : Shah

PNS

BJP national president Amit Shah said that the `wave’ which started from western Uttar Pradesh will transform into a tsunami as the poll juggernaut reaches eastern UP and predicted that Bharatiya Janata Party will form a government by two-thirds majority.

“People are looking for a change and have made up their minds to bring BJP to power in Uttar Pradesh. This, they have done because people want development here. They are fed up with lawlessness and lack of development. The results will expose how people have supported Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pro-people and pro-development policies,” Shah said while addressing election rallies in Basti and Sidharthnagar in eastern UP on Friday.

Shah said that what could be more unfortunate that an FIR is lodged against a minister in Akhilesh Yadav government after intervention of Supreme Court.

“The Chief Minister is holding rallies and saying `kaam bolta hai’. Is this the kaam he is talking about. He should tell people as why he protected tainted minister like Gayatri Prajapati, who is a rape accused,” Shah said.

“Akhilesh Yadav has actually worked. His achievement is he has made UP as number 1 state in crime and rape. The situation is so bad that women fear to move out after dusk. This is because the Samajwadi Party government has given patronage to criminals,” he said and added: “Therefore Prime Minister has said that Samajwadi Party office runs from the police stations of Uttar Pradesh.”

Talking about eastern Up, the BJP chief said that the Prime Minister has given AIIMS and fertiliser factory to this region. “If the BJP forms government it Uttar Pradesh it will waive of farmers loans and would also ensure interest free loans in future,” he said. “We also promise to give 70 lakh employment to youth in next five years,” he said.

Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi he said that Congress vice-president is saying what Modi government has done for UP but he should first say what Congress government has doen for India in the last so many years.

“When we will go for lok Sabha elections we will come out with our report card and tell people as what actually we have done,” Shah said.
