BJP rescues Naik

PNS

Coming to the rescue of Governor Ram Naik, Bharatiya Janata Party said that statement of Samajwadi Party’s national general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav against Governor was not in good taste and speaks volumes about the frustration within the party.

“Governor is the constitutional post and he is within his right to raise any problem state is facing. The Government should take that advise in good spirit and take corrective steps instead of criticizing Governor,” BJP state president Dr laxmi Kant Bajpai said in a written statement issued here on Monday.

He said that SP leader has issued  a list of Yadav officers but has conveniently concealed the fact as who are the people heading UP State Service Commission,  Secondary Education Selection Board, Higher Education Selection Board. Sub-ordinate Services Board and Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Organisation.

“If Government has the courage it should reveal the list of officers selected in last 40 months in police and administration. This will expose who this Government is promoting only one caste,” he said.

BJP state chief said that people are fed up with bad law and order condition and prevailing corruption. The appointment and transfers are marred by nepotism. “What one can say even in lok Sabha election members of one family won on SP ticket,” he said.

“The SP leaders should apologise to Governor for his unwarranted remarks against him otherwise people will not spare the party in next assembly polls,” he said.
