If that is so, why the Government withdrew its laptop schemeIJ The party had promised tablets to class X pass students.

How many students have got those laptops,” BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said in a statement issued here on Monday. He said that Samajwadi Party had promised saree and a blanket to BPl women. Where are those sarees. How many BPl women had got blankets, he asked. “The Government is spreading a mis-information campaign and in some cases government officials are acting as media managers for the CM,” he said.

The BJP reaction in wake of on-going SP campaign in which party leaders, MPs and legislators are holding meeting across the state telling people about the good work Akhilesh Yadav Government had done. The party leaders are distributing pamphlets educating masses about pro-people steps government had taken.

“The Samajwadi Party campaign is a mis-information campaign. “Why the SP leaders not telling people about Hamari Beti Uska kal. Why this scheme is limited to only Muslim girls. Can SP leaders explain this to people,” he said. He said Government and the party is silent on poor law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh. Recently, SP workers staged protest against Governor during his visit to Gorakhpur. Governor is a constitutional post and ruling party should not drag it in petty politics, he said.
