Om Prakash Rajbhar , the sulking ally of the BJP who is president of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party and cabinet minister  has hit out at the ruling party saying the BJP lost the   by polls in Gorakhpur and Phulpur due to its arrogance.   For over a month Rajbhar has launched a tirade against the BJP and the chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

The minister claimed that the BJP government in the state seems to have lost the plot and the chief minister Yogi Adityanath is not applying his discretion while taking major decisions.  The minister who was in Faizabad on Sunday said the officers of the chief minister’s secretariat are dominating the government and the chief minister is taking all   decisions as per the advice of the coterie of bureaucrats.

Picking holes in the `Gram Swraj Programme’’ of the state government, Om Prakash Rajbhar said `` corruption is rampant at the district level and the benefit of the large number of the welfare and development schemes is not reaching the poor people in rural areas and the officials are preventing the poor people from attending the `Chaupals’ organized by the ministers in the villages’’.

“Corruption is rampant in this government as officials are doing whatever they like while the ruling alliance 325 MlAs are facing people ire’s as people have started calling them nalayak (unworthy),” the minister said.

“A large number of people are still deprived of ration cards, housing and benefits of government schemes, but some officials are showing all these works as complete on paper and the CM is believing their reports”, he said.

“I had drawn the attention of the chief minister towards the wrongdoings of the state machinery despite being part of government,” said Rajbhar. . “Had the CM been listening to me, I wouldn’t have visited Delhi to meet Amit Shah. Despite being a cabinet minister, my demand to remove a district magistrate had not been accepted by the CM. The DM was transferred in the process of routine transfers,” he said.

He said the OBCs in UP are not getting the benefit of the reservation despite the tall claims of the state government.  There is lot of hue and cry in the state over the scholarships and fee reimbursement of the OBCs students. They are the victims of the grave injustice  as out of 26 lakh OBCs students  over 11 lakh students got no benefit of the fee reimbursement scheme’’ said the minister.
