Hitting out at Samajwadi Party, the state unit of BJP said that how can SP leadership question 100 days of Modi rule when Akhilesh Yadav Government has failed to give results in its almost 900 day regime.
“Before asking others the Samajwadi Party should first tell people what Akhilesh Yadav Government has done in its 900 days rule. During this bye-election campaign the Samajwadi Party is not telling people about its achievements but talking about Modi. This shows the negative approach of the ruling party,” BJP spokesman Vijay Pathak said here on Monday.
He said how can a government perform when chief minister gives directions through social media network. ‘’ The recent act of the Chief Minister directing the officials to go for random checking of two-wheelers in the state capital through his tweet after a girl was crushed by a truck, shows that now the government is only working through tweeter,’’ Pathak said.
In a statement here he said that even CM replied to the Union Power minister Piyush Goyal’s charges only through tweeter.
‘’ Now even the media persons were being asked to follow the tweets of the CM and the UP government over their latest directives,’’ he said.
He said that how can a big state like UP could be controlled through social media. ‘’ The CM could be a technocrat savy but running a government is different thing and a leader will have to approach the officials directly to give orders,’’ he said.
