Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP) chief Mayawati here alleged that Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) and Samajwadi Party(SP) are trying to create communal tension in the State.

Mayawati, here in a official release deplored the comments made by SP, BJP leaders on each other and alleged that by doing so they are trying to create communal tension in the State. She also alleged that both the Union Government and State Government did not do anything for poor, farmers, dalits and minorities and the people are now fed up with their anti-people agenda.

The BSP supremo further said that despite of both the governments having majority but they are not doing anything for common people and instead they are working for few people and this has also discouraged the citizens.

Mayawati added that both the governments are now trying to create communal tension, in order to distract the citizens from the failures. “To divert peoples attention from their failures, these parties and their governments have been raking up controversial issues like Ayodhya, which is pending in the court and also speaking against each other’s religious leaders,” she said. The way BJP, SP leaders are giving statements on each other over the issue of Yoga, is nothing but an attempt to create communal tension, Mayawati remarked.

Mayawati said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should deliberate whether such a situation will help in ushering in peace and stability in the country.
