Acting on the advise of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, a ruling Samajwadi Party MlA Sahid Beg, came to attend the first day of Budget session in Vidhan Bhawan riding a bi-cycle. “I ride bi-cycle in my constituency. I do it to promote environment,” Beg told repoirters here on Wednesday. “I want to follow the path shown by our CM and I want that everyone should follow it to preserve environment,” he said. This is the first time that Beg came on a bi-cycle to Vidhan Bhawan. Chief Minister had ordered construction of cycle tracks in lucknow, Agra and Noida. The CM himself rides bi-cycle frequently and recently traveled about 25 kilometers on bi-cycle during the Saifai Mahastov. Interestingly, bi-cycle is the election symbol of the Samajwadi Party.
