Sleuths of Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) and Delhi Police arrested yet another ISI agent in lucknow on Wednesday night. The arrested identified as Ezaj aka Khan of Delhi revealed that he funded and helped another ISI agent Indrapal Kushwaha, arrested in Jhansi on February 24, 2014.
Kushwaha, a retired army subedar, who jumped bail and has been on the lam ever since, had collected financial help from Khan.
The ATS team, which is grilling Khan to extract inputs on Kushwaha’s whereabouts, said that Khan collected gold and foreign currency from ISI conduit in Kathmandu before smuggling it through UP-Nepal border and handing it over to Kushwaha.
The ATS team also recovered gold biscuits and foreign currency besides a mobile phone, several SIMs etc. Further investigation are on.
