Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday that for speedy development of any country, participation of all sections of the society, was mandatory as every society including tribes, has a history which every citizen of the country should know. “The Union government is working on the principle of `Sabka saath sabka vikas’, which ensures that every section should get benefits of government schemes. The UP government is following it in true spirit by giving the status of revenue village to Vantangia grams,” Yogi said while addressing a Banjara Rally in lucknow on Wednesday. TheCM said that Banjara Samaj has a glorious past and it was the responsibility of the people of that samaj to ensure that its glorious history did not fade with passage of time.
“The young generation should know the contribution Baba lakhi Shah Banjara made in protecting the Samaj. They should take inspiration from the Baba,” Yogi said.
The CM said that no society could progress without educating the young generation. “Our government has initiated steps in this direction. The NCERT course has been introduced in state –run schools. Villages with population of over 200 have been linked with pucca roads and have been electrified,” he said. Yogi said the the government has also provided houses to over 8.85 lakh people in the last fiscal and toilets were built for 72 lakh families. “Under Ayushman scheme, over 6 crore people will get free medical facilities,” he said. labour minister Swamy Prasad Maurya also spoke on the occasion.
